to Hollywood — and Back to the Stage
Joe Coover has been fooling people since 2nd grade — and he's gotten considerably better at it. What started as a talent show act followed him all the way to the University of Oklahoma, where he studied on an acting scholarship and earned a filmmaking degree.
He went to Hollywood. He worked in film. Then a few stand-up comedy nights happened — and something clicked. The live audience pulled harder than the screen ever did. Joe never looked back.
That decision turned into a 20+ year career performing for corporations, private events, and conference audiences across Barcelona, London, Istanbul, Vancouver, Las Vegas, New York, Frankfurt, and beyond — including multi-year engagements on Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines. Along the way he's performed for some of the world's most recognized companies: Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Lego, among many others.
The through-line from 2nd grade to Fortune 500 stages isn't coincidence. It's 20 years of doing one thing and refusing to stop getting better at it.
